Historic Smith Apartments was built in 1969. Its renovations, commencing in 2005, surpassed the market. The upgrading and modernizing of the interior are completed. Our mission is simple: We not only rent apartments. We provide quality affordable apartments to a community of like minded tenants. Plus, because we believe that family legacies (i.e., trees, places and preservation) matter, we offer our tenants, if interested, support in training and preparation for first time home ownership and preservation.

Age Requirement: Age requirements vary by state. In the state of Mississippi, applicants must be at least 21 years of age to contract.
Employment and Income Requirements: Verification is required.
Smoke/Tobacco Free: Smith Apartments is a non-smoking / tobacco free property.
Non-refundable Application Fee: $40
Deposit: 1 Month rental amount; Non-refundable after 72 hours of payment
Mail Box Key Deposit: $30 Non-refundable
Pets: None permitted
Term: 1 Year Minimum for qualified tenants
Bedrooms/Bathrooms/Occupancy Maximum /Price: 1/1/3 $675; 2/1/4 $825; 3/1/6 $1040 (includes a washer and dryer, stove, microwave, refrigerator and central air and heat.
Section 8 Voucher Holders are accepted.
Utilities: Tenant pays all utilities: water, gas, electric; technology
